POLA FESTIVAL CELEBRATION - 2019

Chetna Kids Paradise - Wardhaman Nagar , Nagpur celebrated Pola Festival on 30th September 2019 ( Friday). The program was started with the importance of 'Pola'. Teachers explained that Pola is a 'Bull Worshipping' festival celebrated by farmers.. On this day farmers decorate and worship their bulls. This is the day when bullocks are given rest fully. Children were looking beautiful and charming in their traditional attire and participated enthusiastically. In Bullock-cart race and Bullock decoration competition winners were awarded with certificates. School Director Mrs Chetna Tank did 'Tilak' of and 'Aarti' of all bullocks brought by all children. Director and Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi appreciated the children and distributed sweets among the students .

RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATION 2019

Our festivals serves as windows to see the complete picture of our culture and traditions. Lalitha Public School , wardhaman Nagar , Nagpur organised a special event ‘Rakshabandhan’ on 13th August 2019 (Wednesday) . The biggest Rakhi with the message of ‘Save Water’ was displayed. The size of Rakhi was 36 feet X 15 feet, made by bamboos , paper and leaves. The tri -colour rakhi was dedicated to our soldiers who protect us on the border and message for the people to plant more trees so that we get more rain and can get water . “ Save Water – Save Life” was the slogan to educate people , take a vow to save water and save the world . School Director Dr. Chetna Tank , Principal Dr. Manjiri Joshi , Teachers and students actively participated in the event to make it a success.

GREEN DAY ACTIVITY & GROW MORE PLANTS

The Chetna Kids Paradise conducted an activity of ‘Green Day’ . Children of the Pre- Primary have made the flowers by green leaves with green colour and the images have printed / created in their notebook. Our Motto behind this activity was that our kids learn the importance of plants in our lives and to grow more plants , so we took a plantation activity in which they sow mustard seeds by themselves in a paper glass with soil and gave water in it. Teachers taught their children the “Importance of Plantation”. A separate room was beautifully decorated by various Green things like Flowers , Leaves , Toys , Vegetables , Fruits etc. Then teachers asked them about all the things which had displayed and children replied very nicely. Director Mrs Chetna Tank & Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi appreciated the kids and gave some tips for “How to learn more from these basic things”

Felicitation Ceremony 2019

It has been rightly said that, “ A dream does not become reality through magic , it takes determination and hardwork.” Lalitha Public School – Jr. College , Wardhaman Nagar , Nagpur , hosted a Felicitation Ceremony of AISSCE & AISSE-2019 Meritorious Students on 27th July 2019 ( Saturday). The occasion was presided over by the honourable School Director Mrs Chetna Tank , School Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi , in the presence of school staff , students and parents . The school toppers Ms Sejal Gupta (AISSCE-19) , Mst. Harshit Rathi (AISSE-19) , Ms. Sanitra Jopat ( AISSE-19) , Mst. Sarthak Motla (AISSE-19) were acknowledged with trophies momentos and appreciation certificates. Subject Toppers and the stars of the Meritorious list were also honoured with momentos & certificates. School Director applauded the students for the excellent academic accomplishment , In her speech she gave the students . a new zeal towards excellence . GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION – 2019

On 16th July 2019 ( Tuesday) Guru Purnima was observed in Lalitha Public School & Junior College , Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur . School Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi garlanded the portrait of Maharshi Ved Vyas. The Program was conducted in Sanskrit , Hindi & English languages in which students recited poem, moral story was told by Ruchika Walde. Guru and Disciple names were told to the students. Importance of Guru in our life was described in the event in which it was mentioned that without Guru we are no one, everyone needs Guru in their life, who can show us our obligations towards our society also who we are ? what are our needs ? LPS- Founder's Day Celebration

Founder's Day was celebrated at Lalitha Public School & Junior College Wardhaman Nagar , Nagpur.The theme of the celebration was 'Spandan' as this day, is a Birthday of Founder Member Ms Lalita Tank, younger daughter of school Chairman Mr Rajendraji Tank & Director Mrs Chetna Tank . The program was inaugurated with lighting of the traditional lamp and Saraswati Puja by Ms Lalita,, Mrs Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi . Mesmerising dance performances and lovely birthday song and theme song were presented by Lalitians. Birthday girl thanked everyone for wonderful arrangements and presentations. School principal guided the students to work hard to achieve success in the career and also be focused for the goals. School Director recited an inspiring poem ‘Sab Kuch Hai Mumkin’ which lead to the message Never Give Up and wished everyone a Very Happy Founder’s Day’. Event was concluded with the distribution of snack boxes. On the occasion Ms Radhika , Mr Mitesh , Mr Yash , students and school staff were present.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY- National Doctor’s Day Lalitha Public School celebrated Doctor’s Day on 1st July 2019 ( Monday ) during the School Assembly. Students from Std I posed as Doctors and talked about the importance of Hygiene and Proper Nutrition to fight various diseases. National Doctors' Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. Students thanked the doctors for being a part of our society and wished them success in the service to serve mankind.

Swachchta Pakhwada Abhiyan

Lalitha Public School & Junior College planned ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ from 1st Sept 2018. The activities conducted were as follows :  After the assembly students took an oath on Swachhata Mission.  In Swacchata Awareness drive students participated in rally with the posters & slogans.  Std from Nursery to Std IV – Demo was given on the Personal Hygiene like how to wash hands properly, brushing teeth, etc. followed by the power point presentation.  Swacchata campaign to make aware of cleanliness in the surrounding the people in the neighbours of the school. Briefed the people & urged them to follow the same.  To Tell the importance of water students were taken to the swimming pool. Water harvesting was explained to the students, its need of an hour. How we can save water for the future ? Avoid scarcity of water. It was an interesting, entertaining and educative Pakhwada. Which help to create awareness of cleanliness throughout the community.

Dental Care Camp at Lalitha Public School

Our School is organized ‘Dental Care Camp’ in the Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur on 21st July 2018 ( Saturday), under the guidance of Dr. Girish Chhabrani (Dentist) from Chhabrani Dental Clinic . Dental Care camp were organized for higher secondary & secondary students in which the doctor examined details of dental check up have been recorded by the doctors. Orientation was taken by the doctors on common problems of teeth, which the young generation is facing . It brought an awareness of personal health and hygiene . It was an indeed very beneficial camp for the students .

EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO VIDHAN BHAWAN , NAGPUR

On 11th July 2018 (Wednesday), our school were organised Educational Exposure Visit for Std X students at Vidhan Bhawan Nagpur. The main motto behind this visit was that students should get aware about our Political environment. While attending the Assembly, students gained the knowledge of the working pattern of the Assembly and its system, through which students gain different kind of innovative ideas for their studies. Students enjoyed and learned a lot. After coming to school, students and teachers reported to Director Mrs. Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs. Manjiri Joshi appreciated the efforts and encouraged the students.

New School Cabinet was elected at Lalitha Public School, Wardhaman Nagar. To make the students aware of the election procedure, the school has started school elections for electing the school cabinet members. On 4th July ’ 2018, (Wednesday) Elections were held in which all the students from class VI to X had cast votes and elected the new school cabinet . Oath ceremony was held after the Badges / sashes & flag handover ceremony. School Captain & Vice Captain took the oath for their duty & responsibility abidation and impartiality for all the Four Houses . House Captains & Vice Captains took oath for the continuous development & discipline maintainence of their respective Houses. Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi addressed the newly elected school cabinet with her golden words in which she said that great responsibility comes with every member of the school has a responsibility to work for the betterment of the power of the school. On this occasion of our School Director Mrs Chetna R. Tank congratulate the School Captain and Vice Captains along with the House Captains . She spoke to all cabinet members and told them to maintain the Dignity and Elegance of the school. She also said that Wisdom and Knowledge is the Power of the students and it is our duty to accomplish it in our everyday life.

Awareness Programme Conducted on Rain Water Harvesting

Awareness Programme on Water Management was conducted by Mr Mangesh Deshpande at Lalitha Public School , Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur on 3rd July’ 2018 (Tuesday). School Director Mrs Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi arranged this awareness programme for the students of class VIII to X to make them aware of the importance of water to our survival and its limited supply. The Resource person Mr. Prabhat Dhadiwal & Mr Mangesh Deshpande demonstrated the Model of Rainwater Harvesting . Also briefed the student of its working . He added normally the harvesting of rainwater simply involves the collection of water from surfaces on which rainfalls and subsequently soking this water for later use, Thus water the most precious natural resource can be saved for all and solve the problem of water scarcity.

Parent Orientation Programme 2018

Our Director Mrs. Chetna Tank had taken the meeting with the parents on 22nd June 2018 (Friday) of std IX & X. She discussed some points regarding the beneficial of the students. Self study is very important for the students . They should read the portion taught regularly. The parents should have good communication with the child as well as in the school. Students are careless in doing writing work. Surprize test will be taken. We all want the 100% result of Std X. So each and every student of Std X has to focus on his/her goal and take this very seriously. Do five minutes exercise or meditation daily. Be always alert and active. If anything is not understood then student should ask their problems to the teachers. It is also seen that students are also not eating healthy food so give them nutritious food. If a child studies with a full concentration for two hours it will be far better than studying for 8 – 9 hours. Students should practice everything in writing. They should prepare the daily notes everyday. Students should not give the false report to their parents. We are trying our level best to bring about the improvement in our students. We want that each and every child should become a good and responsible person in life. She thanked all the parents for their co-operation and support .

International Yoga Day Celebration - 2018-19

“ Yoga Is The Journey of The Self To The Self Through The Self ” International Yoga Day was celebrated in Lalita Public School on 21st June 2018 ( Thursday) between 7:15a.m to 8:15a.m. The event was conducted by our school PTI Ms. Kajal Ganveer (M.P.Ed- Yoga ) giving the importance to imbibe the Yogic way of life as a means to daily fitness and relaxation. Also gave brief introductions about various Asanas. Yoga instructor Mr Shailendra Tambe (M.P.Ed- Yoga) demonstrated the Asaanas. The session of Pranayam was taken by Mr Sameer Singh , explaning various Pranayam techniques like ‘Anulom –Vilom, Kapalbhati and their benefits . Our School Director Mrs Chetna Tank, Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi, The teachers and students participated and actively involved in doing the Asanas etc . It was healthy session and everybody participated with full enthusiasm. The programme was concluded with ‘Yoga Pledge’ by everyone present on the ground. “ Yoga is the art work of awareness on the Canvas of Body, Mind and Soal.”

Makar Sankrati Festival Celebration

Chetna Kids Paradise celebrated Makar Sankranti festival on 13/01/18 . The programme has been started with saying importance about Makar Sankranti festival . Teachers explained the importance of Makar Sankranti and told the children about the festival . On this day Sun enters to the Makar sign thus it is known as Makar Sankranti. From this day onward duration of day – time increases slowly . After the importance of Makar Sankranti children shared Til gud (sweet) among themselves . Then in the huge school play ground school Director Mrs. Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs MAnjiri Joshi participate in kite flying with children. Under the guidance of our Director Mrs Chetna Tank , teachers decorated school premises and made Huge Kite i . She blessed everyone and greeted Happy Makar Sankranti to all. As per her view, students should not use Nylon thread as it is harmful for birds as well as for human beings . Thus in the company of Director , Principal , teachers and children enjoyed kite flying very much.

Pola Festival Celebration

Lalita Public School & Chetna Kids Paradise, Wardhaman Nagar & Gandhiputla Branch celebrated Pola festival on 21/08/17 (Monday). The programme started with saying importance of pola festival. Teachers explained that Pola is the festival of Farmers. On this day their bullocks are decorated and they do puja of the bullocks. Farmers prepare Puranpoli and wada at their home for feast. This is the day when bullocks are given full day rest & they are worshiped. Bullock cart decoration competition and Bullock cart race was also organized in the school . Children participated enthusiastically. They brought beautifully decorated bullock cart and actively participated in the race. Director Mrs Chetna Tank appreciated everyone and distributed sweets to the students and awarded the winners . The Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi thanked the parents for their support and appreciated the children .

Exhibition -2017-18

EXHIBITION – 2017-18 'Exhibition' was organized in the premises of Lalita Public School and Chetna Kids paradise, on 10th March 2018, Saturday, Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi and Ms Lalita Tank inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of Parents , Teachers & students. In the Exhibition, variety of Exhibits were displayed based on all the subjects i.e four languages , Social Science , Maths , Science , Art & craft , Computer , Physical Education , Music , Dance , Instruments etc. Students used the waste materials like news papers , cotton , sponge , straw , jute , CDs, disposable plates , bottle , cups , ice-cream sticks etc to make beautiful eye – appealing articles of Art & craft left the spectators mesmerized. The main motto of the 'Exhibition' was ‘Innovative Ideas – The Need Of An Hour’. Models made were Hydrolic Lifter (JCB), Generator, Fire Alarm, Solar Car , Rain Water Harvesting , Drip irrigation , Vehicle for the smart city etc. Keeping in mind the sustainable development. Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi took the initiative to guide the students and teachers to sharpen their skills. Director Mrs Chetna Tank loved the ideas and brings an opportunity to learn from each other's experiences.

‘Darpan’ Concert 2017-18 at Lalitha Public School

Lalita Public School & Chetna Kids Paradise celebrated ‘Darpan ‘ on 22nd December 2017 ( Friday ). The grand procession of ‘Dindi’ carrying the ‘Palki of Lord Ganesha’ for Sthapana. The traditional lamp was lighted by our honourable Chief Guest Shri Nileshji Agrawal ( Neurosergeon ) , Shri Mohanji Agnihotri (Joint Sectretary of Nagpur City R.S.S.) , Chairman Mr Rajendra Tank , Director Mrs Chetna Tank , Management Members , Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi . The Programme began with a beautiful performance of Ganesh Vandana by our Students. School Report was presented by the Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi . The Chief Guest Shri Nileshji Agrawal encouraged the students to achieved their goal in different fields of education . Shri Mohanji Agnihotri As it was the theme Darpan , the tiny tots from Nursery, K.G.I & II showcased the best performances of last ten years such as African Tribal , Goan Dance and Hat Dance. At the end of the event Director , Principal , Teachers & all the Participants stepped on the stage on the music – for Grand Finale. In her address ,the school Director Mrs Chetna Tank, appreciated the efforts & hardwork put together by the Principal , Teachers and students . She also thanked the parents for their continuous support . The concert concluded with the National Anthem.

Lalita Public School Karate kids has participated in 5th International Shotokan Karate competition organized by I.S.K.O. ( International Shotokan Karate Do Organisation at Andheri Sports Complex (Mumbai) , on 20-08-2017 . In which students of Lalita Public School achieved 2-Gold, 2-Silver, and 2-Bronze Medals. Director Mrs. Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs Manjiri Joshi applauded the students and wished them for their better future performances.

The basic aim behind conducting such activity was to enhance child about importance of ‘Tree Plantation’ and to conserve our environment. The teachers explained how trees are helpful to us. Children were excited in planting the saplings in the school premises. Director Mrs. Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs. Manjiri Joshi gave their precious time & advised children to plant at least one sapling at home which will help the ecological balance and reduce the global warming.

Our School has celebrated 'Guru Purnima' in the school premises on Monday i.e 10/07/17. A special assembly was conducted to make the students aware about the importance of the day . Guru Purnima is a Traditional Indian Festival of the Hindus. It is celebrated to acknowledge the contribution of teachers. This day is dedicated by the disciples to their teachers and important for the students and teachers. Guru plays an important role in moulding the life of a student. A teacher is considered to remove darkness ( ignorance) from a student's life.

The inspector explained the students about the working of the police station like, How the cases are filed FIR, Maharashtra Government had made new handcuf , Riffles which they have explained in detailed to students. What are the emergency numbers which are useful for public in any case of crime. What is Patrolling. It was an educational visit and students learnt a lot.

Std I- V – Collage Work , Std VI- VIII – Postcards writing , Std IX – X – Letter Writing and our tiny tots i.e. blooming flowers of Chetna Kids Paradise wrote postcards to their loving parents with a thanks giving message & posted them. Children expressed their feelings and thanked their parents for their unconditional love and affection.

Vasant Panchami – Celebration

Vasant Panchami was celebrated in the premises of Lalita Public School and Chetna Kids Paradise on 01st February 2017 ( Wednesday ). The programme was conducted during the assembly by the students and the teachers. The programme began with garlanding and worshiping the idol of Maa Saraswati by the Director Mrs Chetna Tank and Principal Mrs Vinisha Menon. Students enunciated the importance of the day, followed by the song “Maa Saraswati – Maa Bhagwati” School Director conducted the special Saraswati Pooja for the students of class IX and X. Students learnt about the importance of showing respect to books as they are repositories of wisdom and knowledge

Inter School Karate Competition

Lalita Public School Karate kids has participated in 1st Maharashtra State Level Shoto Champions Karate Competition organised by Umrer Taluka Sports Karate Association, on 22-01-2017 at Ashirwad Hall, Umrer. In which students of our school achieved 3-Gold, 5-Silver, and 11-Bronze Medals. Also school Karate kids has participated in 9th Kanazawa cup International Karate Championship organized by Nepal Shotokan Karate Association from 12th Jan - 15th Jan 2017, in which the students had won 3- Gold , 4 -Silver and 4 -Bronze medals.

Exposure visit to Fire Station

Exposure visit to Fire Station Class X students of our school, went to visit Kalamna Fire Station on 20/10/16, under the Director management Club Activity. Fire officer Mr. Akash Sontakke and his team were ready with all the equipment for demonstration. He also explained about fire extinguishers , how it works and on what types of fire. Students interacted with the officers and asked inquisitive questions like – how control the fire if it occurs at home ? why fire brigade is of red colour ? What are the different types of sirens ? Students practically handled the fire extinguishers and learnt to control the fire. Department also demonstrated on the working of fire vehicle called Tender, during the occurrence of fire. Students saw the most oldest fire Tender of 1940’s. “We serve to save”, with this moto our fire officers work for the country. . Teachers and students thanked the officers for their kind co-operation, the instructions and knowledge which they have provided to us.

Inter House Football Match

Games are very important for our physical and mental development. Much to the joy of the students, Lalita Public School organised Inter house Football Match. Our Director Maa'm Mrs Chetna Tank and our Principal Maa'm encouraged the students to achieve their goals. Students cheered up by clapping the Players of both the teams. Our Director Maa'm and principal Maa'm praised the teams and congratulated the winning team. The final round was played between Emerald House and Topaz House and winner House was Emerald House.

Fire Mock Drill

Lalita public school Organised "Fire Mock Drill" to guide the students how to tackle the worst situation in case of fire break out. Teachers and students played their role well to make this drill successfull. This drilll is helful for students in future to come out in these type of deadly situatiion. Our Director mam and principal mam directed students to evacuate the school premises within 3 minitues and explain the use of fire extin guishers.

8th Founders Day

Lalita Public School Celebrated 8 th Founders Day on 9th July and also birthday of Lalita Tank (Daughter of our Director Maa'm, Mrs. Chetna Tank ) Theme of Programme was 'Lakshya' Students Presented many dances and birthday Songson this occassion of Founders's day and Lalita's birthday Rangoli based on "SAVE GIRL " child is the main attraction of the programme. Students enjoyed the instrumental orchestra played by our school students. Events of the occassion give message to look forward to future , set goals go out and achieve the success to make the world a better place. At the end, Director maa'm Mrs Chetna Raju Tank and Principal Mrs. Vinisha Menon, guided student to go ahead with our visions and freams to take of the world at the heights success.

Christmas Day Celebration

Lalita Public School and Chetna Kids Paradise has celebrated ‘Christmas’ on 24th December 2013 with zest and fervor. The teachers and students enunciated the importance of Christmas. The event began with carols. The songs, poems and speeches were presented by the students on this occasion. The students gave a scintillating dance performance. The Christmas tree was also decorated to blend with the ambience and the spirit of Christmas. Children’s joy crossed all the boundaries when the Santa in the traditional costume with bells and cakes in his hands arrived, shaking hands with the children and distributed chocolates to all students. The celebration was successful with the guidance and support of our Respected Director Madam Mrs. Chetna Tank and Principal Madam Mrs. Vinisha Menon. Concert - 2014

Lalita Public School and Chetna Kids Paradise has organized the Annual concert titled ‘Relations’ held on the evening of 13th January 2014. The programme was inaugurated by lightning the lamp by the chief guests Mrs. Kalpana Pandey, Ex Mayor Dr. Ravindra Bhoyar, NIT Trustee Mr. Purushottamji Tank, Chairman Ranjendra Tank, Principal Mrs. Vinisha Menon, Ms. Radhika, Ms. lalitha and in the presence of all the trustees. Mr. Krishnaji Khopde graced the function. Principal Mrs. Vinisha Menon presented the school report. The event began with Ganesh Vandana. Students set the school stage ablaze with their scintillating performance. The dances and the costumes of the children were beautiful and dazzling. Our principal Mrs. Vinisha Menon gave the credit of the grand success to the team of teachers, non teaching support staff and students who worked dedicatedly for the function. Director Mrs. Chetna Tank addressed that the concert theme is Relations in which we have shown the importance of relations in one’s life. She thanked all the parents for their co-operation. She also thanked all the students, teaching and non-teaching staff.

Diwali Celebration

Lalita Public School and Chetna Kids Paradise has organized Diwali celebration with great enthusiasm. The school was decorated with traditional earthen lamps. Many competitions like diya, toran, rangoli and card making and floral Rangoli, sweets and Namkeens making etc were organized for parents. All the children come in traditional dress beautiful cracker show was also displayed. Principal Mrs. Vinisha Menon wished everyone and expressed her views that everybody should burst crackers with their parents. Director Ms. Chetana Tank have applauded the efforts of the teachers and parents to make the programme successful and wished everyone Happy Diwali.

Eid

Lalita Public School and Chetna Kids Paradise celebrated ‘EID’ festival. The celebration began with Namaz which was presented by students. After that they took Iftari and offered Namaz. Exchanging greetings and gifts along with warm embraces with family and friends were also the part of the celebration. Our Director Maam Mrs Chetna Tank and our principal madam Mrs. Vinisha Menon appreciated the programme and greeted ‘EID-MUBARAK’ to everybody.

Gandhi Jayanti

Lalitha Public School and Chetna Kids Paradise had celebrated Gandhi Jayanti. On this occasion teachers enunciated the importance of Gandhiji. The celebration began with the songs and speeches which were presented by the students. Also skit on ‘Dandi March’ was a heart throbbing scene. All the students came dressed up as ‘Mahatma Gandhi’. Our principal Mrs. Vinisha Menon expressed her views about the programme and appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers. Our Director Madam Mrs. Chetana Tank wished everyone on this occasion and said that everyone should follow the principles of Gandhiji.
